We also presented our homework projects about “What Easter Means to Us”. There were lots of good ideas and we all really enjoyed it. We’ve been doing some “Move ‘n’ Groove” at the Oval, which has been pleasant because of the beautiful weather. Julia Viney

3B ran around the Oval for “Move ‘n’ Groove”. On Thursday, our Mums and Dads were invited to a book presentation to listen to the stories we had written. We also did a slide show about ANZAC Day and did our Brain Gym. Our Parents thought our books were terrific! Annie Carroll

We then go back to our class and share what we heard and saw while we were ‘deep listening’. Mrs Blaik wrote down a list of all the things we saw and heard. When Mrs Blaik read it back to the class, it sounded like a beautiful poem. We all really enjoyed ‘deep listening’. Adam Leaney

For our homework, we have all made brochures about endangered Australian Animals, which should look great hanging up in our classroom – we’re hanging the brochures up that is, not the animals! We also moved most of our furniture so that the carpet in our classroom could be cleaned, so that means our classroom should smell way better this week. Julia Viney

We’re really hoping this ‘no homework’ arrangement will continue next term as well!! (Julia Viney)
