The School celebrated Anzac day on April 24th at a special service on the school oval. Parents and grandparents were in attendance and th eservice was led by the School Captains and the other Captains - Sports, LOTE, Music and Class Captains - played a significant role within the service. The Year 1 children presented the parents and guests and students with a sprig of Rosemary.
The children were addressed by Brigadeer Doug Formby form the Kenmore Sub-Branch of the RSL Club.
The Class Captains from each class lay a wreath/bouquet of flowers at our own Anzac Memorial.
Our pine tree from the Pine Tree on Lone Pine Hill on the hill overlooking Anzac Cove in Turkey is doing well. The tree was grown from a seed that was brought from the Tree at Gallopoli. The tree can be seen on the right hand side of the garden below.
