TOP OF THE CLASS

This Sunday 25 th May both the Junior and Senior Choirs are performing together at Top of the Class which is held at the City Hall. The afternoon will run from 2-4pm with the combined choir opening the show at 2pm. Top Of The Class will showcase some of Brisbane ’s best primary and senior school bands and all of the family is welcome to come along. A note will be going home today to all choir members outlining the information needed for Sunday. A reminder that BOTH CHOIRS will be rehearsing on both WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY this week in preparation for Sunday’s performance at Top of the Class. The exception is band members who are rehearsing for Fanfare. They are to go to band on WEDNESDAY and choir on THURSDAY.

FETE DE LA MUSIQUE

Congratulations to the group of 23 choir members who performed at the media launch for Fete de la Musique yesterday in the Queen Street Mall. The children sang beautifully and they had a great time, meeting many local music artists including Bobby Flynn, who even signed autographs for us! Thanks to Mrs Davidson-Irwin for enabling our choirs to have such a wonderful experience. Thanks also to Mrs Cook and Mr Perry for their part in the organisation of the day. Thankyou to all family and friends who were able to come along and watch us sing today. We really appreciated the support. Thanks to Mrs Huth and Mrs McGrath for their wonderful job in organising the uniforms. A special thank you must also go to Mrs McGrath for re-ironing our crushed shirts and pants and for making sure we all looked out best.
